Activities - how the charity spends its money
Streetwise 2000 support, help and educate young people through the transition from adolescence to adulthood. We provide them the tools to live meaningful and independent lives, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential and grow to be active members of their communities. We support young people aged between 14 and 25; using a variety of one-to-one and groupwork & therapeutic interventions.

Charitable objects
TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED BETWEEN SIXTEEN AND TWENTY FIVE WHO RESIDE WITHIN THE BURY AREA AND WHO SUFFER FROM A WIDE RANGE OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ISSUES WHICH AFFECT THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING BY PROVIDING A NEEDS-LED SERVICE,ADVICE,ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL,EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:(A)ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS,CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT,MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(B)ADVANCING EDUCATION;(C)RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT;(D)PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH,AGE,INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY,POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.
