Charitable objects
2(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF COCKERMOUTH AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND PUBLIC IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR EDUCATION RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID PUBLIC. 2(B) TO ESTABLISH OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SWIMMING POOL AND SUCH OTHER FACILTIES AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
