We support and empower disabled children and young people aged 0-25 and their families. By offering advice, signposting and listening. We develop and deliver bespoke training material to families and the wider community. We work towards challenging and removing social barriers and promote inclusion for disabled children and young people and equality of opportunity for all.

Charitable objects
'THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND DISTRESS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (AGES 0-25) AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS WITH SOCIAL/COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: PROVIDING A (NW) REGIONAL TELEPHONE HELPLINE STAFFED BY TRAINED VOLUNTEERS ABLE TO OFFER SUPPORT, ADVISE AND SIGNPOST. DEVELOP AND DELIVER APPROPRIATE BESPOKE TRAINING MATERIAL TO FAMILIES AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY. WORK TOWARDS CHALLENGING AND REMOVING SOCIAL BARRIERS AND PROMOTE INCLUSION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SOCIAL/COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS OBJECT 'SOCIAL/COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS' INCLUDE AUTISM, ASPERGER'S SYNDROME, TOURETTE'S SYNDROME, OCD, ODD, ADHD, ADD, CEREBRAL PALSY, DOWNS SYNDROME, FRAGILE X SYNDROME, SELECTIVE MUTISM, SOME WHEELCHAIR USERS AND PEOPLE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS.
