Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (1) THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION IN THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE FOWLER ALMSHOUSES, MELKSHAM, WILTSHIRE FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS OVER 50 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE IN NEED OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND LIVING IN OR NEAR THE DISTRICTS OF MELKSHAM TOWN COUNCIL AND MELKSHAM WITHOUT PARISH COUNCIL ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT"); (2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (A) FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE POOR IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT ; OR (B) WHICH ARE BENEFICIAL TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE.
