FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF AND RELIEVE SUFFERING AMONGST, PARENTS AND FAMILIES AND FRIENDS EXPERIENCING BEREAVEMENT CAUSED BY THE DEATH OF A BABY BEFORE OR AT BIRTH, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE PERSONS LIVING OR WORKING IN KENT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY (I) THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SUCH PERSONS AND (II) RAISING AWARENESS AMONGST HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS OF THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS SO AS TO ENCOURAGE PROVISION OF CARE FOR THOSE PERSONS THAT BETTER MEETS THEIR NEEDS.
