Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: 2.1 TO PROMOTE ETHICAL INVESTMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT SO AS TO ADVANCE: 2.1.1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY; 2.1.2 THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT; 2.1.3 COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW AND ETHICAL STANDARDS OF CONDUCT; AND 2.1.4 SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS MAY BE EFFECTIVELY ADVANCED BY SUCH PROMOTION WHICH ARE CHARITABLE IN LAW. 2.2 TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF ACHIEVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND REGENERATION. 2.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE PRINCIPLES AND EFFECTS OF ETHICAL INVESTMENT AND SUBJECTS RELATING TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND THE PROTECTION, ENHANCEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND TO PROMOTE STUDY AND RESEARCH IN SUCH SUBJECTS PROVIDED THAT THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY ARE DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MEANS ”DEVELOPMENT WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS.”
