Charitable objects
4.1 THE CHARITYS OBJECTS ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY, IN EACH CASE ONLY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO: 4.1.1 THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND SUFFERING BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH GRANTS, GOODS, SERVICE OR FACILITIES AS THE CHARITY SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE; 4.1.2 THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH; 4.1.3 THE SUPPORT, RELIEF AND CARE AND, THE PROMOTION THEREOF, OF: 4.1.3.1 CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITHOUT FAMILIES TO CARE FOR THEM, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ADOPTION AND FOSTERING SERVICES; 4.1.3.2 INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES SEEKING TO ADOPT AND/OR FOSTER CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE; 4.1.3.3 FAMILIES COMPRISING ADOPTED AND FOSTER CHILDREN; 4.1.3.4 CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE; 4.1.3.5 THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE; 4.1.3.6 THE CARERS OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS SPECIFIED IN ARTICLES 4.1.3.1, 4.1.3.2 AND 4.1.3.5 ABOVE; 4.1.3.7 INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES AND GROUPS WHO ARE IN NEED; AND 4.1.3.8 THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; 4.1.4 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATIONAL OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND 4.1.5 ANY ACTIVITY WHICH IS CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND, SAVE THAT IF ANY ACTIVITY IS UNDERTAKEN IN SCOTLAND OR NORTHERN IRELAND, SUCH ACTIVITY SHALL ALSO BE CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF THE JURISDICTION IN WHICH SUCH ACTIVITY IS UNDERTAKEN.
