1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT PARTICULARLY IN THE STUDY OF SCIENCE AND MEDICINE INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO PROMOTE PURE RESEARCH AND TO FUND EDUCATIONAL POSITIONS IN RELEVANT RESEARCH PROJECTS.
2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS OR ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS CHARITABLE PURPOSE AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE.
