Activities - how the charity spends its money
OVCN works with local communities, landowners and organisations, including the South Downs National Park, Sustrans, the South Downs Local Access Forum,to create a network of safe multi-user paths (The Egrets Way) connecting Lewes and Newhaven and the villages of the Lower Ouse Valley and to develop links to other local, national and international cycling routes and shared walking routes .

TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE IN THE SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK AND THE OUSE VALLEY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROVISION OF SAFE ROUTES, PATHS AND FACILITIES FOR CYCLING AND TO UNDERTAKE SUCH PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES OF A CHARITABLE NATURE WHICH WILL ASSIST IN PROMOTING HEALTHY RECREATION, THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE CONSERVATION OF ENERGY RESOURCES.
