Activities - how the charity spends its money
We work with young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and with vulnerable and socially excluded people in County Durham. Services and interventions are provided to support vulnerable people into independent living through pre-tenancy work, provision of supported accommodation, counselling, information advice and guidance, floating support and education and training.

Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN COUNTY DURHAM, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE WHICH ASSIST INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND/OR THOSE WHO HAVE PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS. 2. SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN COUNTY DURHAM IN PARTICULAR BY: (I) RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS, THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND/OR THOSE WHO HAVE MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL HEALTH NEEDS. (II) ADVANCING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS, AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND/OR THOSE WITH MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL HEALTH NEEDS. (III) RELIEVING POVERTY IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF CARE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO THOSE IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.
