Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD AND SURROUNDING AREA, THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND IMPROVE HEALTH AND WELLBEING AMONG REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS, MIGRANT WORKERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS LIVING IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD AND THE SURROUNDING BOROUGHS, AND TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG THE AFORESAID PERSONS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND EDUCATION. 3. TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS AS SET OUT IN THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD THROUGHOUT THE WORLD BY ALL OR MANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 1) RAISING AWARENESS OF HUMAN RIGHTS 2) ADVANCING EDUCATION CONCERNING HUMAN RIGHTS 3) PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES 4. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN SOMALIA, DJIBOUTI, SUDAN, ERITREA, AND ETHIOPIA BY PROVIDING: GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.
