Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1 TO PRESERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE JACOBEAN MANSION HOUSE KNOWN AS KIPLIN HALL IN NORTH YORKSHIRE TOGETHER WITH ITS APPURTENANCES, FARMLAND, FARM BUILDINGS, COTTAGES AND OTHER ANCILLARY BUILDINGS, GARDENS, WOODLANDS AND PARKLANDS OR SUCH PART OR PARTS THEREOF AS SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BE HELD BY THE CIO ('KIPLIN HALL') AND TO PROMOTE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE STUDY AND APPRECIATION OF KIPLIN HALL AS A PLACE OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST AND NATURAL BEAUTY; 3.2 TO PRESERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT SUCH PICTURES, STATUES, FURNITURE, BOOKS AND OTHER CHATTELS FOR THE TIME BEING HELD BY THE CIO ('KIPLIN HALL'S WORKS OF ART') AND TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE STUDY AND APPRECIATION OF THE KIPLIN HALL'S WORKS OF ART AS FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR ARTISTIC INTEREST; 3.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES, IN PARTICULAR IN RELATION TO KIPLIN HALL AND KIPLIN HALL'S WORKS OF ART; 3.4 TO PROVIDE AT KIPLIN HALL, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE (WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE CHARITIES ACT 2011), FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATIONS (INCLUDING SPORT); 3.5 GENERALLY TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AND TO FACILITATE AND ENCOURAGE THE USE, OCCUPATION AND ENJOYMENT OF THE WHOLE OR ANY PART OF KIPLIN HALL AND KIPLIN HALL'S WORKS OF ART FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME CONSIDER APPROPRIATE.
