The charity provides arts and creative services to a range of people including local primary schools, community groups, and the community at large. DOCA works with and commissions artists on new and innovative projects for the community throughout the year.

Charitable objects
1. TO WORK WITHIN A LOCAL, REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE, EDUCATE AND DEVELOP APPRECIATION AND ENJOYMENT OF AND PARTICIPATION IN (VOLUNTARILY AND PROFESSIONALLY) OUTDOOR ARTS, INCLUDING CARNIVAL AND STREET ARTS; THEIR TRADITIONS, MUSIC, CRAFTS, PRESENTATION AND PURPOSE IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF AN ANNUAL PARTICIPATORY PROGRAMME COMPRISING ARTS WORKSHOPS, ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND BY THE PROMOTION AND ORGANISATION OF AN ARTISTIC PROGRAMME INCLUDING AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL, AND CARNIVAL AND CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THE COMMUNITY OF DEVIZES AND DISTRICT SPECIFICALLY, AND MORE WIDELY. 2. TO ADVANCE ANY PURPOSE, WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF DEVIZES AND SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVISION OF GRANTS AND FUNDING TO LOCAL CHARITIES.
