1.THE RELIEF OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AND SUFFERING AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE MENTAL,AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN WELWYN HATFIELD WHO HAVE SUFFERED OR ARE EXPOSED TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION,ADVICE, INFORMATION,PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT,DROP-IN SESSIONS,A TELEPHONE HELPLINE,SPECIALIST CHILDREN’S SERVICES AND BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.2.TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE AND THE PREVENTION THEREOF.
