Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO ARE THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE PRINCIPALLY FROM BME COMMUNITIES AND THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS IN THE UK LIVING IN THE EAST MIDLANDS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF A DROP IN CENTRE TO PROVIDE TRAINING FACILITIES AND SUPPORT SERVICES SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM WITH THE ADAPTION WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY, WITH THE VIEW TO: - 1. PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH 2. ADVANCING THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING; 3. RELIEVING THEM FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND UNEMPLOYMENT; AND 4. PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION OF THOSE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OR CREED.
