Charitable objects
3. OBJECTS
The object of the Fund shall be:-
3.1 To assist by monetary grants such members of the Fund and their widows or widowers and immediate dependants who are in necessitous or impoverished circumstances. To also include unforeseen situations that have a short term detrimental financial impact on the member.
3.2 To make grants to Police charities, or other charitable funds, or grants to such persons who are in necessitous or impoverished circumstances as the Committee may select.
3.3 To make grants to members attending a Police convalescent Home, or other establishment for the purpose of convalescence, in order to assist with their travel and incidental expenditure during their stay.
3.4 To show a mark of respect at the funeral of retired officers on behalf of the Chief Constable and members of the Warwickshire Police.
3.5 To make grants to organisations having a connection with the Warwickshire Police for the benefit of the members of the Fund concerned with it.
