TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM PROCEDURE INDUCED, PERI-OPERATIVE AND GENERAL ANXIETY, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH CHILDREN IN HOW TO IDENTIFY, MANAGE AND REDUCE SUCH ANXIETY IN CHILDREN AND BY CARRYING OUT RESEARCH IN ALL AREAS OF THAT SUBJECT AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.
