TO PROMOTE THE EQUALITY OF, AND TO HELP AND EDUCATE GIRLS AND WOMEN THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES SO TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL CAPACITIES THAT THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED WHO LIVE IN THE AREA OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE AND THE SURROUNDING NORTH EAST REGION.
