Batley Sporting Charitable Trust works in partnership with the Batley Bulldogs RLFC to deliver projects in the heart of the Batley community and surrounding Kirklees area harnessing the power of sport and physical activity to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of individuals. We deliver projects under the principles of sport, health, education and community engagement.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR THE INHABITANTS OF WEST YORKSHIRE AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS:- (1) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PLAYING RUGBY LEAGUE AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING HEALTH ("FACILITIES" MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES) (2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN/YOUNG ADULTS AS TRUSTEES THINK FIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW OF CHARITY (3) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION AND LEISURE FOR PERSONS WHO NEED SUCH FACILITIES DUE TO THEIR YOUTH, AGE, DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE
