1. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SRI LANKA IN PARTICULAR BY SUPPORTING, TRAINING AND EDUCATING HEALTH WORKERS AND STUDENTS OF MEDICINE AND OTHERWISE SUPPORTING HEALTH CARE PROVISION AT JAFFNA HOSPITAL OR OTHER HOSPITALS.
2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR IN SRI LANKA BY PROVIDING TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS AT JAFFNA HOSPITAL AND JAFFNA UNIVERSITY OR SIMILAR ESTABLISHMENTS IN SRI LANKA.
