Charitable objects
TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF WOODHALL SPA PARISH AND ITS ENVIRONS (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE “AREA OF BENEFIT”) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER: (I) TO MANAGE, PROMOTE AND SUSTAIN JUBILEE PARK AS A SWIMMING, LEISURE, SPORTS & RECREATION FACILITY AVAILABLE TO THE BENEFIT OF THE WHOLE COMMUNITY, PRINCIPALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF (II) TO PROMOTE HEALTH & FITNESS TO THE COMMUNITY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SWIMMING, SPORTS AND HEALTH RELATED TRAINING AND COACHING. (III) TO PROMOTE, ORGANISE AND FACILITATE CO-OPERATION AND PARTNERSHIP WORKING BETWEEN THIRD SECTOR, STATUTORY AND OTHER RELEVANT BODIES IN THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
