TO AID, FURTHER AND EXTEND THE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE RURAL DEANERY OF LEEDS OR ELSEWHERE AS SHALL BE EXPEDIENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE SOCIETY AND FOR THAT PURPOSE TO DO AND CARRY OUT OR ASSIST IN DOING OR CARRING OUT ALL SUCH MATTERS AND THINGS AS SHALL PROMOTE THE OBJECTS OF SUCH CHURCH.
