Charitable objects
2 OBJECTS 2.1. THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME, AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE CAPITAL, AT SUCH TIMES, IN SUCH MANNER, AND SUBJECT TO SUCH RESTRICTIONS (IF ANY), AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT FOR OR TOWARDS: 2.1.1. THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF PORCELAIN AND OTHER CERAMIC WORKS MADE BY GEORGE OWEN AND OTHER POTTERS AT THE ROYAL WORCESTER AND OTHER FACTORIES AND, AS ANCILLARY TO THE FOREGOING, (1) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF HISTORIC RECORDS, BOOKS, MANUSCRIPTS AND OTHER ITEMS RELATING TO SUCH POTTERS AND THEIR WORKS; (2) THE PROVISION OF AN EXHIBITION AND STUDY CENTRE FOR THE PUBLIC DISPLAY OF SUCH WORKS AND ITEMS; AND 2.1.2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY: (1) THE EXHIBITION TO THE PUBLIC OF SUCH WORKS AND RECORDS; (2) THE PROMOTION OF THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO SUCH POTTERS AND THEIR WORKS BY THE AWARD OF PRIZES, GRANTS AND BURSARIES AND OTHERWISE; AND (3) THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH; (4) THE PUBLICATION OF OTHER MATERIALS RELATING TO SUCH POTTERS AND THEIR WORKS.
