Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Club coaches and volunteers have provided paddling opportunities in a variety of different craft to the local communities and worked with other local clubs, scout and school groups enhancing skills and personal development and training on our local water and with trips and competitions across the country and acquired a 40 year lease at nominal rent for development of future facilities

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CIO ARE: 1)THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR ALL ASPECTS OF THE SPORT OF CANOEING AND PADDLE SPORTS. 2)TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
