Art and Sacred Places (ASP) carries out inspirational permanent commissions, challenging temporary commissions and mutually beneficial interfaith projects. ASP stimulates debate about meaning and spirituality through the conjunction of contemporary visual art and faith. ASP works alongside faith communities arts organisations schools local government architects developers and environmentalists.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE VISUAL ARTS BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS 1. INCREASING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSION OF WORKS OF VISUAL ART AND THE APPRECIATION OF SUCH WORKS 2. ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THE COMMISSIONING OF WORKS OF VISUAL ART 3. ENCOURAGING AND ASSISTING IN THE MOUNTING OF EXHIBITIONS OF WORKS OF ART HAVING A SPIRITUAL DIMENSION IN CATHEDRALS, CHURCHES OR OTHER BUILDINGS SET ASIDE FOR WORSHIP BY OTHER FAITHS 4. PROMOTING A CLOSER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN ORGANISED RELIGIOUS AND VISUAL ARTISTS.
