IN APPLYING IN EACH YEAR A SUM NOT EXCEEDING 1/3 OF THE INCOME IN PROMOTING THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OF PERSONS WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED 25 YEARS OF AGE WHO, OR WHOSE PARENTS, ARE RESIDENT IN THE CITY OF MANCHESTER AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, FIRST PREFERENCE TO THOSE WHO AT ANY TIME ATTEND THE FORMER BENNETT STREET SUNDAY SCHOOL AND SECOND PREFERENCE TO THOSE WHO, OR THOSE PARENTS, ARE RESIDENT WITHIN THA AREA OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST PAUL NEW CROS WITH ST MICHAEL AND ST THOMAS, RED BANK; IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES AND PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.
