Charitable objects
1. TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY PROMOTING THE KNOWLEDGE OF ALLAH (GOD) AS PORTRAYED IN THE AUTHENTIC SOURCES OF ISLAM AND ACCORDING TO THE WAY OF THE PIOUS PREDECESSORS, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RELIGIOUS WORSHIP. 2. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF EAST LONDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE SAID INHABITANTS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM FIT.
