Charitable objects
The objects of the CIO are to relieve the charitable needs of people with Down’s
Syndrome, and their families, helpers and carers in particular but not exclusively by the
provision of support and information and speech and language therapy so that they are
able to attain their full potential and to undertake any other charitable activities in
connection with the relief of Down’s Syndrome in the SN postcode and the surrounding
area. (Area of Benefit).
“Surrounding area” defined as – post code areas associated to Fairford, Malmesbury,
Hungerford, Pewsey, Marlborough, Hullavington, Chippenham, Devizes, Calne, Ashton
Keynes, Cirencester, Aldbourne, Bromham, Melksham and Cheltenham.
