Bid to Save A Stray / Friend of Targoviste Rescued Dogs works primarily in the saving and rehoming of stray and abused dogs. We support among others Asociatia Sufletel Targoviste (Wonderland) which is a privately owned shelter in Romania where we currently have 1400 dogs all looking for homes after being saved from certain death at the hands of the Romanian Government in Public Shelters.

TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS, PARTICULARLY DOGS, BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS, PARTICULARLY DOGS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY SUPPORTING THE CHARITABLE WORK OF ASOCIATIA SUFLETEL TARGOVISTE ANIMAL RESCUE CENTRE IN ROMANIA AND OF OTHER ANIMAL RESCUE CENTRES IN THE UK AND EUROPE AND IDENTIFYING SUITABLE PLACEMENTS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION AND FOSTERING OF DOGS IN THEIR CARE.
