1.TO PROMOTE RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS HARMONY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: I. PROLIFERATION OF MODELS FOR LESSENING CONFLICT BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIFFERING RACES AND RELIGIONS, USING EXAMPLES DRAWN FROM CONTEMPORARY AND HISTORICAL CENTRAL ASIA THROUGH EDUCATION AND COMPARATIVE GLOBAL CONTEXTUALIZATION; II. TO PROMOTE ACTIVITIES SUPPORTING MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND TOLERANCE BETWEEN RELIGIONS AND ETHNIC GROUPS, INCLUDING: A. LECTURES AND SEMINARS; B. COLLABORATION BETWEEN SCHOLARS ON TOPICS RELATING TO RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL HARMONY; AND C. OTHER EVENTS THAT ENGAGE THE PUBLIC WITH THESE PURPOSES. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ENGLAND AND WALES AND IN KAZAKSHSTAN IN THE FIELDS OF PHYSICAL, BIOLOGICAL, MEDICAL AND ENGINEERING SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES INCLUDING ECONOMICS, BUSINESS STUDIES, SOCIAL SCIENCES, SYSTEMS OF GOVERNANCE AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP, MANAGERIAL AND BUSINESS SKILLS, AND IN PARTICULAR BY: I. PUTTING ON COURSES, SEMINARS, TRAINING PROGRAMMES AND LECTURES AT CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY AND ELSEWHERE; AND II. THE PROVISION OF VISITING FELLOWSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND SECONDMENTS FOR STUDY AT CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY, ELSEWHERE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, THE EUROPEAN UNION AND IN KAZAKHSTAN.
