(1) PROVIDING RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND FOR PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ROCHDALE; (2) PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE SAID AREA.
