Charitable objects
1. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG WOMEN LIVING OR WORKING IN RURAL AREAS BY: (I) PROVIDING A FORUM FOR REPRESENTATION, INFORMATION SHARING, DATA COLLECTION, COLLABORATION AND NETWORKING AMONG NGO AND CHARITY ORGANISATIONS, (II) PROVIDING WOMEN WITH CREDIT RESPONSE TO THEIR NEEDS TO START UP INDIVIDUAL INCOME-GENERATING ACTIVITIES INCREASING THE NUMBER OF WOMEN WHO ENGAGE IN AND MANAGE SUCH ACTIVITIES ON THEIR OWN; (III) PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE WOMEN TO BECOME INVOLVED IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE. 2. TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF WOMEN LIVING OR WORKING IN RURAL AREAS OF UGANDA IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. 3. TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH BY: (I) PROMOTING HYGIENE AND SANITATION AND ENSURING THAT THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE HAVE ACCESS TO SAFE CLEAN WATER; (II) CREATING HIV/AIDS AWARENESS AMONGST MEMBER ORGANISATIONS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
