THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SHROPSHIRE AND TELFORD AND WREKIN: A)THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING FOR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS AND TARGETED EVENTS; AND B)TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT BY THE PROMOTION OF RECYCLING AND SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR MEMBERS AND WITH SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL’S ‘WASTE’ CONTRACTOR, BY EDUCATING IN SUSTAINABLE LIVING PRACTICES AND BY PUBLICISING POSITIVE DEVELOPMENTS.
