Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE ISOLATION, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONG ELDERLY PEOPLE OF INDIAN ORIGIN, WHERE SUCH NEEDS ARISE AS A RESULT OF THEIR AGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:
(1) ARRANGING SOCIAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES;
(2) PROVIDING ACTIVITIES, SERVICES AND FACILITIES DESIGNED TO MEET THEIR WELFARE NEEDS; AND
(3) PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHICH PROVIDE SUCH ACTIVITIES, SERVICES AND FACILITIES.
