THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PHYSICALLY DISABLED PEOPLE (PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE LIVING IN THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE) BY SUCH CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES DETERMINE, INCLUDING: A) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE; B) FACILITATING A SUPPORT NETWORK C) ASSISTING PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE TO LIVE AN INDEPENDENT LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY; AND D) FACILITATING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PHYSICALLY DISABLED PEOPLE AND PROVIDERS OF PUBLIC SERVICES.
