Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE ANY PURPOSE THAT IS CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 1. ADVANCING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, HIGH QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD, OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) UNDER THE AGE OF 12 YEARS; TO ENHANCE THE PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING (I) THE PROVISION OF GRANTS OR DONATIONS TO INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS; AND (II) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND/OR PROVISION OF FINANCIAL OR OTHER SUPPORT TO ORGANISATIONS OR INSTITUTIONS INVOLVED IN THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG CHILDREN (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ACADEMIC OR OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS OR BODIES INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE). 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF CITIZENSHIP AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND PARTICIPATION ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND ON A NON PARTY POLITICAL OR PARTISAN BASIS. 3. THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF EFFICIENT PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICE, INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF CIVIC LEADERS AND ADMINISTRATORS, AND THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF EFFECTIVE CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND ENGAGEMENT.
