Activities - how the charity spends its money
VOICES provides a unique service based on survivor-led insights and expertise. Groups & individual support are available for victims of abuse. Where possible, support is offered to victims attending court or dealing with other agencies and services. VOICES liaises with other local DV services and also provides advocacy and training to professionals.

Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF THOSE WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC ABUSE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING ADVICE, SUPPORT, INTERVENTIONS AND RECOVERY PROGRAMMES; B) ASSISTING THEM TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS ENABLING THE SERVICE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THOSE PERSONS; C) ACTIVITIES TO RELIEVE THEIR MENTAL OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AND WHICH PROMOTE THEIR WELLBEING SUCH AS SUPPORT GROUPS AND NETWORKS; AND D) RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC ABUSE AND ASSISTING THEIR INTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL ISSUES RELATING TO THE SUBJECT OF DOMESTIC ABUSE, INCLUDING CONDUCTING OR SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO THE FACTORS THAT MAY CONTRIBUTE TO SUCH ABUSE AND THE MOST APPROPRIATE WAYS TO MITIGATE THEM AND THE PUBLISHING OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH
