Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Silvers Workshop provides a workshop with wood and metal-working tools where older men can come to make and mend things and socialise and enjoy the camaraderie of work without the pressures. We are based in Reading in Berkshire and membership is available to men in the vicinity of Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell Forest.

THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF MEN LIVING IN THE VICINITY OF READING AND WOKINGHAM TO COMBAT LONELINESS AND SOCIAL ISOLATION BY THE PROVISION OF A WORKSHOP WHERE THEY CAN MEET AND ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES TOGETHER ONLY LIMITED BY THEIR ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE INDEPENDENTLY, AIMED AT INCREASING THEIR ENGAGEMENT AND CONDITION OF LIFE .
