Activities - how the charity spends its money
The object of the charity is to advance and promote lifelong education for all. These needs to be met by a community library providing activities and services for the public benefit of all who are in need of such provision. Currently we provide regular activities for school and pre school children and activities and venues for adults.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD AND ELSEWHERE AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE LIVING IN THE GREENHILL, BRADWAY AND LOWEDGES AREAS AND WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, REGARDLESS OF THEIR SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OPINIONS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED LIBRARY FACILITIES AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES.
