TO ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND TOWN PLANNING IN GRIMSBY. TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE TOWN AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. TO ENCOURAGE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT, IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENTIY OF HISTORIC INTEREST.
