Activities - how the charity spends its money
Our aim is to provide a big screen cinema experience for the people of Bideford and the surrounding area. We show a variety of films, including a wide range of recent releases, and also occasionally work with local community groups and independent film makers for particular events. We also work with other local charities.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE BIDEFORD FILM SOCIETY ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY THE ART OF FILM AND ALLIED VISUAL TECHNIQUES AND TO PROMOTE ART FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A FILM SOCIETY. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING OBJECTS, THE SOCIETY SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND APPRECIATION OF FILM BY MEANS OF LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS AND EXHIBITIONS.
