Charitable objects
THE PROMOTION OF RACE EQUALITY AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM, SPECIALISING IN THE SUPPORT OF BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, BY: A) PROVIDING A PROGRAMME OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SUPPLEMENTARY SCHOOLING, MENTORING AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO ADDRESS EDUCATIONAL INEQUALITIES BETWEEN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT ETHNIC GROUPS. B) PROVIDING ADVICE, INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY SUPPORT FOR PARENTS/CARERS IN RELATION TO RACE EQUALITY ON ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR CHILDREN?S EDUCATION AND WELFARE. C) DELIVERING PROJECTS AIMED AT PROMOTING EQUALITY WITHIN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM AND ADDRESSING EDUCATIONAL INEQUALITY AND DISADVANTAGE D) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ON EDUCATIONAL LEGISLATION AND ISSUES RELATED TO RACE EQUALITY AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY, AND IF NECESSARY LOBBYING THE RELEVANT AGENCIES. E) WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER GROUPS AND BODIES WHO PROVIDE SERVICES TO YOUNG PEOPLE WITH OTHER PROTECTED CHARACTERISTICS.
