THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM POSTURAL TACHYCARDIA SYNDROME (POTS); 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE SYNDROME, IN PARTICULAR THOSE INVOLVED IN THE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND CARE OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM POTS; AND 3) TO CARRY OUT, OR TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO POTS, ITS CAUSES, TREATMENT AND CURE AND PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
