THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN YEOVIL AND DISTRICT FOR PATIENTS WHO HAVE SUFFERED HEART RELATED CONDITIONS BY PROVIDING FACILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO UNDERGO AN EXERCISE PROGRAMME MONITORED BY APPROPRIATELY TRAINED STAFF AND BY SUPPORTING CARDIAC REHABILITATION AND EDUCATION IN THE AREA COVERED BY YEOVIL DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
