TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE USERS PRIMARILY IN LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: - IMPROVING THE INVOLVEMENT AND REPRESENTATION OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE USERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS. WORKING TOGETHER WITH COMMISSIONERS AND HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PROFESSIONALS. - OFFERING PEER SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE USERS TO RAISE ISSUES AND DISCUSS EXPERIENCES. - PROMOTING GREATER AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH IN THE COMMUNITIES OF LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND INCLUDING THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND TRAINING.
