Charitable objects
1) RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY, OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THE PARISH OF LLANFAIR WATERDINE IN SHROPSHIRE & ITS ENVIRONS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES; 2) ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 26 YEARS IN THE PARISH OF LLANFAIR WATERDINE IN SHROPSHIRE & ITS ENVIRONS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT; 3) RECREATIONAL CHARITIES ACT 1958: TO MANAGE THAT TRUST PROPERTY OF .640HA, FIELD NUMBER 4018, ALSO KNOWN AS THE VEDW FIELD, ENTRUSTED BY CONVEYANCE ON THE 7TH DAY OF AUGUST IN THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND, FOR THE USE AND GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF LLANFAIR WATERDINE IN SHROPSHIRE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION AND PURSUITS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS BUT THIS SHALL NOT PREVENT - A) THE USE OF THE TRUST PROPERTY BY PERSONS OUTSIDE THE ARE OF BENEFIT OR FOR INDIVIDUAL PURPOSES IF APPROVED BY THE MANAGEMENT TRUSTEES AND - B) THE RIGHT OF THE MANAGEMENT TRUSTEES TO LET THE TRUST PROPERTY WHEN NOT IN USE AND TO APPLY THE INCOME THEREOF TOWARDS I) THE MAINTENANCE OF THE TRUST PROPERTY (INCLUDING ANY BUILDINGS THEREON AND THE MAINTENANCE OF BOUNDARY HEDGES AND FENCES AND - II) TO CONSTRUCT ANY BUILDINGS AND ANCILLARY WORK PERMITTED BY THAT DEED OF CONVEYANCE OF 7TH AUGUST 2000. 4) THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF URBAN OR RURAL REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION (AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE PARISH OF LLANFAIR WATERDINE IN SHROPSHIRE & ITS ENVIRONS) BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: A) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; B) THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES; C) THE PROTECTION OR CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT; D) SUCH OTHER MEANS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FOR ENGLAND AND WALES. THE GENERAL BENEFIT FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE INHABITANTENVIRONS FOR WHICH THE PROVISION IS NOT MADE OUT OF RATES, TAXES OR OTHER PUBLIC FUNDS.
