TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE RIVER THAMES AND SURROUNDING AREA BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: CELEBRATING AND ENGAGING WITH THE ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE RIVER THAMES THROUGH AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS DISTINCTIVE, EVOLVING AND EVER CHANGING. THE RANGE OF ARTEFACTS WITHIN THE MUSEUM COLLECTIONS WILL SPAN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN HABITATION ALONGSIDE THE RIVER THAMES. PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL TRIPS ON TO THE FORESHORE FOR SCHOOLS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL BODIES.
