Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (“OBJECTS”) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER, TROUBLE, OR CATASTROPHE. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE CHARITY MAY DO ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: 1. UNDERTAKE INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AND EVALUATION OF HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE PROCESSES AT BOTH INTERNATIONAL AND GRASSROOTS LEVEL, OFFERING APPROPRIATE SOLUTIONS FOR OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO TIMELY AND EFFICIENT ACTION. 2. ESTABLISH INDEPENDENT PROJECTS TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE ISSUES, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE BASE. 3. ENCOURAGE, AND PUBLISH GUIDELINES ON, BEST PRACTICE IN RESEARCH, TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND EVALUATION PROCESS. 4. GATHER DATA PERTAINING TO HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE IN THE FORM OF DATABASES, REPORTS, PUBLIC AND PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO SHARE AND COMMUNICATE MAJOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND CHALLENGES. 5. PROVIDE TRAINING WORKSHOPS, COURSES, MENTORING AND CONFERENCES ONLINE AND IN PERSON TO DISSEMINATE HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE TOOLS AND BEST PRACTICE.
