1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN WEST AFRICA BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT INCLUDING: (A) PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT SCHOOLS INCLUDING AT THE EVANS PRIMARY SCHOOL IN TENGBEH TOWN, FREETOWN; (B) PROMOTING, SUPPORTING OR FUNDING INDIVIDUALS OR ORGANISATIONS IN ORDER THAT WEST AFRICAN PEOPLE IN NEED CAN ACCESS EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING PROGRAMMES BEYOND PRIMARY SCHOOL INCLUDING: (I) AWARDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO SUCH PERSONS (E.G. SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS OR RESOURCES/ITEMS TENABLE FOR SECONDARY, TERTIARY, FURTHER, HIGHER, SPECIALIST OR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION OR TRAINING); (II) PROVIDING FOR THEIR EDUCATION OR PREPARATION FOR ENTRY TO ANY OCCUPATION, TRADE OR PROFESSION ON LEAVING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. (III) ASSISTING ANY CHARITY IN WEST AFRICA WHOSE AIMS INCLUDE ADVANCING EDUCATION OF PERSONS BY DEVELOPING THEIR MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL CAPABILITIES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES; 2. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN WEST AFRICA BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS, AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE PURCHASE OF FOOD, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, MEDICAL TREATMENT OR OTHER GOODS OR SERVICES NECESSARY FOR RELIEVING POVERTY
