Activities - how the charity spends its money
We work with Police Forces in the United Kingdom to support them provide a unified Volunteer Police Cadet opportunity which is accessible to all young people with an interest in policing. We are keen to provide opportunities to the most vulnerable to criminality to enable them enjoy benefits of membership and Volunteer Police Cadet units develop Youth Social Action opportunities.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR CONCERNING POLICE WORK, THE LAW AND POLICE PROCEDURES. 2. TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS THE CHARITY MAY DO ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: I. CREATE AND DEVELOP A NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND FRAMEWORK TO SUPPORT THE VOLUNTEER POLICE CADET PROGRAMME AND WHERE APPROPRIATE WORK WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO SUPPORT THE OBJECTS; II. SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE VOLUNTEER POLICE CADETS TO SUPPORT POLICE FORCES TO REDUCE CRIME AND DISORDER; ADDRESS VULNERABILITY AND INCREASE PROTECTION III. SUPPORT POLICE FORCES TO MAKE THE PROGRAMME AS ACCESSIBLE AS POSSIBLE TO ALL YOUNG PEOPLE REGARDLESS OF BACKGROUND, INCLUDING DISABILITY, ETHNICITY, RACE OR POVERTY IV. INCREASE THE QUALITY, CONSISTENCY, SUSTAINABILITY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAMME V. DEVELOP AND DELIVER TRAINING TO SUPPORT VPC AND OTHER YOUTH PROGRAMMES VI. FACILITATE THE RAISING AND DISSEMINATION OF FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF THE PROGRAMME VII. RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMME VIII. CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CADETS AND LEADERS IN LINE WITH THE AIMS AND PRINCIPLES OF THE PROGRAMME IX. DEVELOP PROGRAMMES THAT POLICE FORCES CAN USE TO ENGAGE AND SUPPORT COMMUNITIES.
